Being Ignorant is HARD Work!
It is Hard being ignorant!!
I tell ya... just plain hard.
How does the rest of America do it? I automatically get in my car and want to listen to Air America Radio, or NPR but instead I turn it to the Classical (though this may be too educational) station. Mornings used to consist of reading local news, pursuing the BBC and NY Times, reading commentary from various other countries but now I read the comics and advertisements.
I am JONESING!!! I want news. I want to read!! I want to KNOW!!!
But, I WILL be strong. I will not bend to the intellectual left. I will read ONLY my Bible. I need know nothing else. When people want to engage in stimulating conversation, I will quote scripture.
When my friends start discussing world events, I will ask, "did you see FEAR FACTOR the other night?"
And if the economy tanks I will say, "It is God's will." I WILL be ignorant. I CAN do it!!!
