Airline Tickets
So I have been looking on-line for tickets so Bree & Ana can fly from El Paso Texas to Portland, Oregon to come visit us for a week.
This shouldn't be too difficult should it?
Well, apparently it IS Difficult. She has to leave at a God awful hour, 6:00 AM (mind you she lives two hours away form Hell Paso) stop in either Utah or Dallas. Either place is NOT where I would want to stop. Then have anywhere from an hour layover to three hours. All while caring for a one year old.
Oh did I mention Bree has a fear of flying?
Now here is the amazing thing I have been looking at airfares for the last two weeks. In that time they have jumped in price. WHY?? WHY??? Is Portland, Oregon really that hot of a destination from Texas?????
So instead of paying $375 I am now going to pay $395. Because I waited two weeks??????
There is no rhyme or reason to the airline industry. It is a huge Goat #$#$!!!

that is funny! goat F*(&^(k! I'm still laughing! I have no idea why though, but hopefully Anne has found you something a bit more reasonable! Good luck to you, I am so happy that they get to come and spend Any amount of time with you, not to mention a week! I'll bet your dad is just thrilled! Not to mention Kurt and the dogs will have a licking fest of excitement!

Ok got tickets at a reasonable rate. though... I FUBAR'd going through Travelocity and ended up putting MY name instead of Bre's name. Had to cancel it, got charged $5.00 and had to use Orbitz because Travelocity had increased in price ove 15 minutes. AAARRRGGG!!!!!!!!!!
