It always amazes me when someone repeats information they overheard.
Person A makes a comment which is overheard by person B, then person B tells person C, Person C tells person D, and person D tells person E. The overheard statement gets back to person A.
The hypothetical statement goes something like this: I have an hair appointment later.
The final returned statement comes back something like this: So & So had 15 appointments and told so & so and so to piss off.
Why do people repeat information they are not privy too, does NOT concern them, and create chaos?
I don't get it.
Just one of those things make me go, hmmmmmm.....

Because some people are truly miserable.
Some people make it a hobby and go to great lenghths to stick their nose in crap that has absolutely nothing to do with them.
Shit-disturbers do not realize that they are screwing themselves more than their intended targets.
