Weekend Re-cap

First it is Monday.

Second, I am not at work. Why, because Portland weather people suck. First they tell me it will be freezing rain, then they tell me it will snow, then they tell me it is just raining. Well, I am from SAN DIEGO!!!

My idea of weather is "Wow, it is partly cloudy today. Better wear a long sleeve shirt."

So this not knowing is poor terror for the likes of me. Freezing rain??? I will slide off the road and plunge into the icy waters of the Columbia, be swept away never to be found again. Or worse drive into the Willamette and die from some nasty pathogen just waiting to inhabit my body and turn me into a mutant. So, I am at home.

as for this weekend... Saturday began the tile process. Yea!! Coming along quite nicely.
Sunday…still tiling. Still looks beautiful. Opps... broke a tile putting toilet back in. hmmm bummer. Must retake out toilet and replace tile...uuuhhh tomorrow? Then we will grout???

But it is looking swell. Now have to figure out color scheme. Was doing dark blue and ice blue. Doesn't quite work. Then thought peach and taupe. Yuck. Thought wrong. Then thought taupe & blue. WOW.

Like that.

Kurt says too dark. Need lighter.
Quarts are getting expensive.
