Irony
Bobby, my second born son, is currently serving in the US Army. While in the Army he did two tours of duty in Iraq. He is also infantry. Which means to those of us who have not spent time in Army green, he has seen things no one at his age should ever witness.
Bobby was in the Falluja offensive; he missed by mere minutes being blown up when an insurgent blew up his mess tent. Daily he went on patrol through some of most dangerous parts of Iraq. Through it all he was left unharmed.
Today Bobby is still in the US Army stationed in Germany. While stepping out of his shower he slipped fell forward hit the toilet and cracked two ribs.
That is Irony.
