Counting Down

So my boss comes in and asks if I can work January 3rd. It was my chance to just say no, because I am quitting and I will no longer be an indentured servant of CCI. But did I? NO. I weakly said no I have plans. Yes I have plans. I am working somewhere else.

Can I just say how much I hate being deceptive? OK, I hate it but I hate letting others down more.
