Two dogs, a cat & a mouse.
My job is to patrol and protect. I take this job seriously.
At approximately 2300 hours on April 3, 2006, Citrus reported an intruder. I was on high alert. Molly joined me in our pursuit to bring down the interloper. The cat instantly went into hunt and detain mode.
We had the little bugger cornered in the main room when the dame of the house busted in on our action. I can't really blame her. We work for her. She keeps us on retainer. We are to report to her and the fat guy.
But, here's the thing, we have a job to do; hence the payoff. If she keeps getting in the way how are we to keep these vagrants from infiltrating the compound? First there was that raccoon, now a mouse, what next a dirty rat?
After the dame brought the fat man in on the chase all bets were off. We lost site of the suspect as he made his escape through a crack.
But we will get him. There is always tonight.
