My Family

I know I babble on about many inconsequential, trivial topics on my blog. It is a way to shed my angst, discuss the state of politics (shameful state), and drone on about subjects that many find silly if not down right boring.

Thus said, I would like to continue on in that vein about my Family. First Kurt is a God send. He IS my knight in spotty armor. He is caring, trustworthy and is the best husband one could EVER hope for.

My sister, can be challenging but has always been there for me. We have had are ups and downs but she really does have a heart of gold. (really)

My dad... well he is just great. Lives with us, wrecks our nerves at times, but wouldn't trade having him there for anything.

Justin (Son #1) Ahh... He was a royal pain in the ass growing up; yet, has turned into an amazing young man. Hard to believe. He is involved in lighting and sound in So. Ca., has met Al gore, W. (through no fault of his own), Arnold, Hilary & Bill, B.B. King... oh and yes Melissa, Dave Mathews. Plus a lot more people I can't remember. He has a beautiful wife and a wonderful daughter that I rarely get to see. Bad Justin.

Then there is son # 2 (Bobby) He's in the Army. Spent two tours in lovely Iraq. But made it back safe. Thank you God.

Son # 3 (Danny) Harbors a lot of resentment and anger. Over time we will work through it, I hope.

And Breauna... the girl. Why is it girls stick closer to their moms? Well she is a jewel. She is smart, funny, and a bit of a smart ass. Must be genetics. She is married to a very nice man, has a beautiful daughter, again don't get to see enough, and is expecting another baby in July.

I am blessed with a wonderful family.

Oh… Then there is my brother Jay.... I'll just leave it at that

And then there are the furry ones. Gotta love the furry ones.

Setting Tile

As many of you know we have been renovationg our bathroom. It is a fairly small space but this has been NO SMALL project. We have literally rebuilt the bathroom from top to bottom. We have replaced bathroom fixtures, installed new tile btoh on the floor and in the walls, rebuilt bathroom walls and even installed new plumbing and (Thank God) a new toliet. Here are a small sampling of photos showing showing the hard work we, mostly Kurt, did in effort to beautify our small little bathroom. Enjoy. Posted by Picasa
