A gift from God!!

A little over six years ago God blessed me with a very precious gift, a life partner.

The key to that last statement is life.

Unfortunately, if I keep abusing my wonderful husband to the degree I have he may expire before his expiration date.

He has definitely proven his love during this latest project. He has dug ditches in 100 plus degree heat, poured cement until past midnight and dragged his very cute bottom to work every morning by seven AM.

Yes, I am whining.

It is too DAMN hot.

When I begged for summer I was not asking for hotter than forty hell heat. I did not want to walk outside and be blasted by an inferno.

As it is I will be sleeping in the basement tonight to escape the Oregon Sahara.

I suppose the old Chinese proverb be careful for what you wish for, once again, proves true.

So...is it winter yet????
