MARRIAGE

For the record:
Being married most of the time is pretty great. Especially when you are with the right person. You get to hang out with someone you like. You have someone to share your thoughts with, talk about dreams. Get a hug when you most need it. Yes, being married is great.

...most of the time.

Yet, every so often one's spouse does something that drives you closer to putting the pillow over their face and applying massive pressure and choking the life force out of their annoying, irritating, being.

I am sure I will never take that final step. I will never actually put the pillow over his face. I will never hold the pillow down long enough to choke his life force from his soul.

No, I will not.

At least not today.

We have an egg.

Yes, you have read correctly. ONE egg.

1 chicken coop = $150.00
5 chickens
&
2 Roosters = $20.00

5 bales of hay for the coop = $50.00

2 huge bags of chicken feed = $30.00

two 20lb sacks of rice = $14.00

The excitement of my husband finding his first chicken egg = priceless.

The Super Bowl, two Roosters, and Howard Dean

Yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday. A day with almost as much anticipation as Christmas and usually as much let down. This year was no exception. A boring defensive game, no commercials worthy of note, and a lame half time show. (Sorry Sir Paul, but you have seen better days.) thus another wasted Sunday watching a boring game. The best thing about yesterday's game was my homemade chips, guacamole, and buffalo wings. Mmmmmm... good food.

On another note, I awoke this morning to the wonderful sound of speckles, the rooster. ERREERRREEERRRRRRRRRRR. Roosters do NOT say cockadoodledoo.

They crow. ERERERERRRRRRRRRR. And keep crowing until their servant, Victor, brings them their hot rice, cabbage and whatever leftover crap he has.

And Lucky us we actually have TWO frigging roosters. TWO!!! For the record we do not even need a rooster let alone TWO!!

This is my life.

I am HAPPY! I AM HAPPY!! I AM HAPPY!!!

GREAT NEWS!!

Howard Dean will be our new DNC Chairman. All opponents have dropped out. Leaving Dean completely unopposed. YIPPEEEEE!!!

Life IS good!!!
